  I like supporting a local business, but when prices are 3x what they are elsewhere and they lie about it, it's kind of hard. At least the return was easy.

  I am a professional photographer and have been shopping at Le Camera for 15 years. I and other professionals are extremely thankful to have this business in the area. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable. They have saved me bundle on numerous occasions by talking me out of buying the wrong equipment or something more expensive than I really needed. I regularly see the owner honestly and generously spending a great deal of time educating people who just aren't sure what type of camera or equipment they really want or need. They cannot always compete with Amazon, Best Buy and B&H, but it is worth a few dollars more to keep this business and practical knowledge in the neighborhood. You can also negotiate the price if you do a little research. I always check the price on Amazon first before speaking to them and explain I am happy to spend a few dollars more but can't afford much more than that.
